We are part of the Kalamazoo Diocese and we have been here in Battle Creek since 1879. Fr. John Fleckenstein is our pastor. Here you will find the latest news and information about our parish family.

Please take a moment to check out the information on this site and learn more about the activities of our parish. We hope you enjoy your visit and encourage you to check back often for updates.

St. Philip Parish offers each one of us many different ways to share our gifts with those around us. In doing so we both learn and teach about the love of God, and our gifts grow as we utilize them. We have found that we benefit as do our parish and our community. Please check out the information on the ministries and services offered here at St.Philip.

Weekly Homily

We the people of St. Philip Catholic Church having been baptized by water and fire, follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in every parish activity.

+We endeavor to reach the highest level of spiritual fulfillment through the power of the Holy Spirit and under the guidance of our Holy Father and our Bishop.

+United in faith and nourished by the sacraments, we seek the will of our Lord through worship, education, and works of love, to encourage all people in their pursuit of the hope and salvation we know – Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

+We strive to be a constant example of the love of Christ to ourselves, our neighbors, and our community as we spread the Good News.
