- Responsible for leading the assembly in song during liturgical celebrations.
- This ministry requires a great deal of competence. The cantor must be singer, proclaimer, liturgical minister, and spiritual leader.
- Work with the music directors by appointment.
- Open to any parishioner.
- Training period is required before "active duty" ensues.
